Dress Code:

On the day of our wedding, the official dress code is "Formal". Please wear a suit of any color, a nice cocktail dress or a pantsuit. If you know us, you know that we love outfits that are weird and wonderful, so to celebrate us, we'd love if you could dress to represent that. If you have something that you never thought you could wear to something, or that you were worried would be far too extra for another event... Today is the day. Feather Boa? Nice. Over the top shoes? Sick. Fur Coat? That's hardly even a question, absolutely!

We have one request, other than the obvious 'don't wear white', is that you do not wear olive green. (See Left) Unless, of course, you want to match the bridal party and get asked questions that you don't know the answer to, and then be very embarrassed.

Additionally, we would like to draw attention to the fact that Markree Castle has a lot of stairs that you will need to navigate throughout the course of the day. If you plan on taking the gamble on some wild shoes that you're not 100% confident you can walk in, that's a chance I probably wouldn't take.

Accommodations:

Please be aware that accommodations have been chosen for you based on your attending days and proximity to the bridal party. There are three Locations where we have arranged, and you will be informed where you will be staying.

Markree Castle

This is the venue where the ceremony, meal and all festivities will take place. There is limited rooms and parking on site here, but will be sufficient for all guests at the castle. There will be transport arranged from The Address, Sligo, to take you to the castle for the ceremony, as well as back at the end of the evening. Breakfast is included.

Markree Courtyard

This is located directly next door to the Castle, and will have parking for guests here. Ellen will be getting ready here on the morning of the wedding. Breakfast is included.

The Address, Sligo Town.

This is the offsite location for all those not staying on the Markree premises, and we have arranged for a number of rooms here. This will also be the location of the day two event. There will be a bus arranged that will take you from here to arrive at Markree Castle for 2pm ahead of the ceremony. Additionally, there will be bus later in the evening to take you back to The Address as the evening winds down. Breakfast is Included.

Day Two Festivities:

The Address, Sligo Town

Day Two celebrations will be held in The Address Boutique hotel in Sligo Town. We will be staying here on the second night, and we will be aiming to kick things off here at 4pm. Finger food will be served at 5pm, alongside an absolute hape of pints, as well as an even larger serving of great craic. Plans suggest that we will be staying here for the evening, but who knows, maybe we'll hit the town and see the best of clubs that Sligo may or may not have to offer. Who knows?

There is a spa on site as well, so if you think your head might be very sore (it could very well be), you could book in for a lil bit of TLC! There's also a gym if you're a complete lunatic.
